Title: Account Manager

Reports to: Managing Director

Based at: PureComms, East End Court Tickenham Rd, Clevedon, Avon, BS21 6QY

To achieve and exceed all agreed sales and performance measures by developing and maintaining an appropriate pipeline of opportunities and prospects in line with monthly profit targets. To provide up to date product knowledge to allow the creation of bespoke solutions for new businesses by having a strong understanding of the individual needs whilst also working with Purecomms existing customers to upsell services across the existing customer base.

Role Responsibilities   

  • Effectively prioritises work activities to ensure a balanced pipeline is always in place
  • 50% of role generating new business 50% of role account management upselling to existing customers
  • Generating sales leads for the business, deliver and exceed sales targets
  • Build quotes and present proposals to clients
  • Manage relationship between PureComms and the defined account base
  • Adapt and grow services provided by upselling and cross selling Pure Comms services to existing clients
  • Maintain high levels of customer service knowledge on current and future PureComms products
  • React effectively and in a timely manner to customer/client queries
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the nature of an organisation with a view to quantifying how and where they could benefit from using our solutions
  • Work closely with the Operations Team and Technical Support team to deliver excellent customer service and ensuring a detailed and accurate handover

  • Strong organisational skills to manage time balancing prospecting, working on live quotes and account management to maintain a balanced and healthy pipeline
  • Self-motivated and tenacious
  • Service orientated, personable, committed individual with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to liase with a range of stakeholders with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Would potentially suit a telesales executive looking to move into a field sales role or an individual wanting to start their career in sales.

Working Week: Monday – Friday 8.30 – 17.30

Salary £18k – £22k OTE £35,000
