A number of key businesses and organisations recently gathered together for the annual Pure Comms summer BBQ.

Representatives from many of Pure Comms’ clients such as Bristol Airport, BWOC, Redrock and JJ Fox all came together for an evening of drinks and food.

The Pure Comms BBQ has become a milestone in many business calendars and Managing Director at the Clevedon based firm, Rob Vivian, was pleased to see another event go off successfully:

“We hold this event every summer to say thanks to our customers for using our service and to give them something back.

“This year the venue was the magnificent Weston Lodge in Portishead. All guests were treated to a BBQ and drinks reception, and most importantly the weather held out.”

One attendee was Mark Wayne of BWOC, who are one of the UK’s leading fuel suppliers.

He said: “Pure Comms really are a top company. The service they offer is second to none, and we have used other providers for our telecommunications.

“They really care about their customers and offer a superb service which is twenty-four seven.

“The BBQ was great and also doubled up as a good opportunity for business networking.”

Established in 2009, Pure Comms operate out of the Radius Business Enterprise Centre in Clevedon Hall, Clevedon.

They work with a number of clients across a number of sectors and most recently began working with the Royal Scot Locomotive and General Trust.

This latest client is a charitable trust set up in 2009, to protect for the long term, a representative group of steam locomotives capable of hauling passenger trains on both the main line and on heritage railways.

The trust is special to Rob personally as he helps to maintain one of its locomotives – the 6024 King Edward 1st.
