Clients

We work with SMEs and Corporate clients of all sizes across the UK. Here are some of their stories of working with us.

Bonhams

“We were faced with a number of issues regarding our telecoms and PureComms fitted our requirements perfectly in regards to finding a solution.”

Bonhams is one of the world’s leading auctioneers of fine art and antiques.  They have a presence in 66 locations worldwide, spanning six continents, which includes auction houses, sales rooms and offices.

Bonhams needed to move the whole UK estate (200 sites) to PureComms, consolidating mobile and landlines into one managed contract.

PureComms built a state-of-the-art solution, unique to Bonhams exact requirements.  Through this process we identified waste, delivered less downtime and added value in terms of the ongoing service and support they receive from us.

Within the first nine months of working with PureComms, Bonhams reported significantly less downtime and a cost saving of over thirty-six thousand pounds compared to the same period the year before – they continue to save money year on year.

“We were faced with a number of issues regarding our telecoms and PureComms fitted our requirements perfectly in regards to finding a solution.”

“It was the best option by far and ticked all of the boxes in our procurement process.  PureComms was not the cheapest, but we were interested in a supplier with a proven track record of dealing with companies both big and small, that offered state-of-the-art software and first class customer service.”

“In whatever we do we select the best.  PureComms is an extension of this rule.”

Britannia Windows

“PureComms is all about service delivery and adding value- it’s good to see them disrupting the marketing in this way.”

Britannia Windows is one of the UK’s leading window, door and conservatory manufacturers and suppliers.  One of the fastest growing companies in the construction industry, it is well known for its activity in the mergers and acquisitions arena.  It has operations across Devon, Cornwall and the south west.

With the company being active acquiring new businesses across the south west, having a telecoms and infrastructure provider that is agile and can set up effective new and/or extended communications quickly and efficiently, is vital.

Britannia moves fast and needs a telecoms provider that can keep up.  PureComms manage all fixed lines and mobiles across all of the sites and have built a bespoke solution around each operation which is flexible, delivers minimal downtime and provides first class service and support.

PureComms has helped to support Britannia’s massive growth by offering an agile and advanced service.  In comparison to their previous provider PureComms has also helped to deliver significant savings for Britannia.

“Telecoms is often seen as a commodity product or second thought for many business owners who just go for the cheapest option.  But when things don’t work and you can’t get any support or slow connections and downtime are common, you do end up getting what you pay for and paying for it in your business.

“PureComms is all about service delivery and adding value- it’s good to see them disrupting the marketing in this way.”

Allegro Logistics Ltd

“PureComms delivered beyond our expectations, having our new facility fully functional for the first day of trading, enabling us to deliver on our promises to our own customers.”

Allegro Logistics Ltd is a fast-growing Storage and Distribution provider based in North Somerset.  Offering domestic and international shipping solutions the business has a strong focus on quality and customer service.

They needed to find a service provider who was able to deliver exceptional customer experience.  With the opening of a new 22,000sq.ft. facility, there was a need to install Wi-Fi throughout the building, along with 10 telephone lines in the offices.  Stability and reliability of the communications infrastructure throughout this facility was paramount, due to the fact that all transactions are completed on-line for e-commerce businesses.  Again, working with a provider who understands the need for first-class support and customer service in the event of a fault/issue, was critical to us.

We transitioned Allegro Logistics from physical lines to a hosted platform using FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet).  Cabling was put in place and an intercom system installed.  This has resulted in a cost saving on the clients monthly bill, and given them the capacity to grow by simply adding additional handsets as/when required.

“PureComms delivered beyond our expectations, having our new facility fully functional for the first day of trading, enabling us to deliver on our promises to our own customers.”

“We really needed a supplier who understood us, as a small business getting this element of our business was vital.  PureComms took the time to listen to us and understand how our business works.

“This led to suggestion and solutions being provided, that gives us so much flexibility within a small agile business.  We are seeing physical cost savings within the first few months of operation, along with many hours of time being gained with the reduction in duplication and waste within the business.”

“The solution was built around us and delivered quickly. We received constant support from the Pure Comms team – even on weekends and evenings”

Any business knows how stressful moving can be but telecoms provider Pure Comms ensured a smooth transition when a fast-growing client recently re-located.

The Ascot Group, one of the UK’s leading marketing and publishing groups, has been a Pure Comms customer since 2014, with the firm providing bespoke telecoms and internet service solutions.

From 2015 to 2016, the Ascot Group has grown from 42 to 54 staff across its three business divisions – Purplex, Insight Data and Business Leader. The rapid expansion saw the business recently relocate to a 5,000 sq ft office close to the J21 Enterprise area at Weston-super-Mare.

At its old premises, the Ascot Group used ISDN telephone lines, a traditional solution for businesses with multiple lines, but wanted a more suitable solution for its new office.

Pure Comms set up a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system in just one month, where usually this can take up to 20 weeks to implement.

The benefits of VoIP include cheaper call costs, a reduced need for physical infrastructure and no down time.

It is also easier to upgrade the telecoms plan if needed; as incoming calls are routed to the cloud, meaning new lines can be added quickly without the need for technician call-outs.

Rob Vivian, Managing Director of Pure Comms, comments: “All businesses will experience growing pains when expanding and not having the right telecoms infrastructure in place can be a huge problem, resulting in frequent down-time and unnecessary costs.

“We’re delighted to have worked with the Ascot Group to deliver an ideal telecoms solution for their needs on a fast turnaround.”

Andrew Scott, Managing Director of the Ascot Group, comments: “Where possible we use local suppliers and dynamic companies such as ourselves, which is why we chose Pure Comms as our telecoms provider.

“The solution was built around us and delivered quickly. We received constant support from the Pure Comms team – even on weekends and evenings – and although our internet speeds have increased our costs are lower.”

Pure Comms is a specialist provider that works across multiple sectors, including construction, professional services, recruitment, food and drink and oil and gas – developing communication solutions that are specific to each company and sector.

Pure Comms has been in business for seven years and specialises in lines/calls, VoIP, leased lines, cabling, mobiles, Wi-Fi services for businesses as well as IT support.

Redrock Consulting

“Thanks guys, this is exactly the kind of support we were hoping for”

Redrock Consulting is one of the fastest growing recruitment companies in the UK. They have also made it onto the Times Tech Track 100 list.

When it came to reviewing their telecoms provider, the management team were keen to select a supplier that provided nothing but the best service and support.

This seems like a pretty natural request for a company of this standing, but Redrock live and die by the telephone and if they cannot make a telephone call they may as well be pouring money down the drain.

We were able to demonstrate that our investment in a direct WLR3 relationship with Openreach could provide a far higher level of integration with the core network. Put simply – if something goes wrong then we can react much faster than BT can to solve the issue.

Our business relationship with Redrock Consulting has been so successful we were even asked to Project Manage their recent office move – resulting in less than a minutes worth of downtime.

Computer World

“Pure Comms delivered – quite simply we were under pressure and they solved a major problem for us”

John Armstrong of Computerworld had a very tricky challenge in trying to move the company from one office to another – and to ensure that the telephony services were delivered on time so the business could function properly.

Pure Comms took control and escalated the request up to the DSO (Directors Services Office) at BT Openreach to try and get their ISDN services installed in time.

Working together with Openreach, the Pure Comms team managed to get all of Computerworld’s services installed, two days earlier than anticipated.

This was all about delivering for the customer on time and we like to think it reflects our values perfectly – we focus entirely on meeting and exceeding the customer’s expectations.

“We could not resist. They offer reliability at such keen rates. We had to go with them”

International law firm Humphreys & Co. were actually Pure Comms’ first customers.

Having known and dealt with Rob over many years in his previous profession as a Procurement Consultant for Kendrick Jones, they jumped at the chance to work with Pure Comms.

They have not been disappointed as Pure Comms have managed to maintain existing service levels and reduce call charges.

“Just wanted to say a big ‘Thank you’ for making our office move run so smoothly. PureComms were perfect and all phones and internet were working within minutes. This was vital for us as a slow process would have had a negative effect on the business.”

This is another working example of Pure Comms going above and beyond for its customers.

We were notified of this last minute office move only a couple of weeks before it was due to happen.

But our customer service team jumped straight on it and pulled a few strings to ensure the phone lines and broadband were installed in super quick time. At Pure Comms we appreciate how important this is.

BWOC Logo

“Would the problem have been sorted so efficiently? To be honest I doubt it – the quality and support PureComms offer is demonstrably a cut above.”

BWOC is the UK’s leading independent fuel supplier and has directly benefitted from Pure Comms’ service.

For example, when BWOC experienced a fault with their telephone system Pure Comms were on-hand to defuse the issue.

The telephone system had failed at 5pm and with a tight schedule of deliveries planned for the next day the issue could have easily ended up costing BWOC money.

But thanks to Pure Comms’ 24-hour service this wasn’t the case. In fact at 6pm they managed to contact Rob Vivian direct and within an hour of logging the fault an engineer was working on the problem, and by 9.20pm that evening the lines were back up and working.

The issue was eventually solved by Pure Comms’ Operations Manager Gemma McMillan who logged In to the BT system from home – something which all of the Pure Comms’ team are trained to do.

As BWOC’s Financial Director Steve Corrick explains, had the problem been left to their previous supplier he is not certain it would have been resolved so swiftly: “Would the problem have been sorted so efficiently? To be honest I doubt it – the quality and support Pure Comms offer is demonstrably a cut above.”
