A telecoms company that counts Bristol Airport, Britannia Windows and Bristol based recruitment firm Opus as its clients, has made a new appointment.

Rob MacDonald, 40, has joined fast growing telecoms company Pure Comms in the role of Data Specialist.

An experienced figure in the telecoms sector, for the last ten years he has worked in a managerial role for CableCom Networking Ltd.

The appointment comes off the back of a flying start to the year for Pure Comms, which has seen the company experience record growth for the first four months of 2014 – with each month exceeding the previous.

Rob comments on his new role: “I’m delighted to be here and want to help Pure Comms to continue to grow and deliver the high level of customer service they have become known for. It’s great to join a very fast growing company with a strong commitment to service and innovation; and one that offers market leading products.”

Rob Vivian, who is Pure Comms Managing Director, comments: “Rob is highly experienced and will add technical and industry knowledge to our team. It’s no secret we have big ambitions as a company and Rob will be key to us as we continue to expand.”

Pure Comms began trading in 2009 at the height of the recession and now employ twelve members of staff.

And the company recently welcomed world famous speaker Mark Ormrod to their offices, where he gave an inspirational talk to business leaders. Mark is a former Royal Marine Commando; the UK’s first triple amputee; author of Man Down and public speaker.

The latest acquisition earmarks Pure Comms as one of the fastest growing SME’s in the South West; and the company has plans to add more new faces before the end of the year.
