Following months of hard work Clevedon based telecoms provider Pure Comms, who were recently crowned Sian Lloyd Jones Business of the Year, has opened its Research and Development Centre.
A ‘bold move’ and ‘significant investment’, Rob Vivian, who is Managing Director of Pure Comms, says the new centre will improve the level of service and support they can offer.
He comments: “It’s been a labour of love and as you would expect there have been a few hiccups and headaches along the way but we’re glad it is now up and running. It represents a significant investment for us and is a bold move when you consider the current economic climate.”
The new centre is located at Pure Comms’ offices in Clevedon Hall, Clevedon, and will allow the technical team to mimic every phone system they sell – a process which will throw up a number of possibilities.
When a customer calls them regarding an issue they are having with their telephony environment, the Pure Comms team can now replicate the scenario in the centre; and find the appropriate solution quickly and deliver it without the need for third-party engagement or costly call-outs.
Phil Wilkins, who has been brought in to head up the centre, comments: “This approach means that if any issues arise our time is taken up and not our customers. We can also trial tailored telecoms solutions, so for example if a client wants their telecoms to run a certain way we can troubleshoot it fully before it goes live.”
Rob adds: “We provide our customers with an added value service such as twenty-four-hour customer support, no third-party engagement and a state-of-the-art telecoms solution that only a handful of providers in the UK can offer. The Research and Development centre will improve and add to what we already offer.”
Established in 2009, Pure Comms work with a variety of clients across the UK such as leading fuel supplier BWOC, Bristol Airport, recruitment specialists Red Rock and Rapide Office Supplies.
