Connectivity

Many of our clients operate in sectors and offer business services that rely heavily on connections to the outside world (e.g. voice and unified communications connectivity, internet connectivity and mobile connections).

We offer tailored communication solutions and equipment to suit any size business within any sector to ensure we meet our customer’s unique requirements. Our pricing is clear, competitive and honest with no hidden charges and every customer will have a dedicated account manager acting as a single point of contact.

We offer a range of options to meet differing business needs, from businesses employing 5 employees through to 500+ and from small scale operations through to multi-site large-scale businesses.

We will work with our potential and existing customers to understand your business’ individual connectivity requirements and provide a solution perfect for your business. If we feel we are unable to offer a solution that would fit in with your business requirements we will be upfront and honest and let the customer know.

We can also switch existing services to our network quickly and easily, guaranteeing minimal disruption and highest quality ongoing connections.

‘Connectivity’ options we offer, providing the links between your business and the outside world, include:

Voice and Unified Communications Connectivity:

As digitalisation is changing the way we work we are no longer confined to a specific desk, phone or computer screen. Unified Communications (UC) combines various communication methods within the business such as voice and telephony, email and voicemail, instant messaging, calendars and scheduling and web, audio and video conferencing, all delivered through the cloud providing a flexible, resilient, cost effective and future proof communication solution.
Hosted/cloud systems are hosted off-site ‘in the cloud’ and are internet based voice (VoIP) and data communications. These systems can help businesses reduce the cost of investing in equipment associated with a phone system and ongoing maintenance costs, whilst still offering features such as conference calling, call logs, voicemail etc. They can also offer businesses greater flexibility as calls can be taken/made/managed from a desktop, computer and mobile. However, they do require a consistent and reliable internet connection which can be an issue for some businesses, depending upon where they are located.

Internet Connectivity:

These lines are faster and the most reliable. They are normally used by organisations who need to share large volumes of data and/or require multiple site-to-site connections. Again, this service is uncontended with symmetrical speeds and is fully managed. Download speeds: minimum of 100Mbps, maximum of 1000Mbps. Upload speeds between 100Mbsp – 1GIG.

We are installing Gigabit Ethernet connections to many businesses with 10 or more employees due to the speed and reliability. Contact us today to find out more.

FTTP is delivered over fibre optic cable to the premises and typically runs much faster than other forms of Broadband with up to 330MB download speeds

This is a business grade Broadband connection with high dependency on connectivity to the Internet, online databases VOIP traffic etc. This is an uncontended service with lines offering speeds up to 40GB. Speeds are symmetrical. Download speeds: minimum of 10Mbps, maximum of 100Mbps. Upload speeds up to 100Mbsp.

Openreach is currently rolling FTTC out across the UKs copper network to improve home and businesses upload and download speeds. FTTC speeds are up to 7 times faster, however, as with ADSL, it does not carry any repair SLA’s. Download speeds: minimum 44Mbps up to 76Mbps (maximum). Upload speeds 10-19Mbps.

This is the most common form of Broadband used, mostly at home. Delivered over copper pairs from the local exchange to nearby street cabinets, product set-up and rental charges are lower-priced. However, this is not viewed as a ‘business-grade’ Broadband solution due to the relatively low upload speeds and the fact that it does include any repair Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Download speeds: minimum of 17Mbps, maximum of 19.5Mbps. Upload speeds up to 1.5Mbps.
